Sidney bond proposal outlines $2.885 million school plan
Architect John Smutz of Wilson & Co says the plan is bare bones with no extras. The bond vote in Sidney would finance construction costs near 35 dollars per square foot based on Hensel Phelps estimates, with materials and construction type to be chosen to maximize economy. If approved, bids would be sought in 1978 and may use metal or brick, balancing acoustics and class needs.
