Herman Rogers and Lloyd Hatfield of Morrill county confessed at Bridgeport to selling a truck load of stolen wheat at Sidney Friday morning. They were taken into custody after an elevator reported 78 bushels and 50 pounds sold for 69 dollars and 37 cents. Bound over to district court, they remain jailed in Bridgeport with nearly all the money recovered.

Pilot of airplane fined for disorderly conduct
James Brewster of Cincinnati, Ohio, arrested Monday night for disorderly conduct, fined 10 dollars plus costs totaling 17.50 by the county court. He arrived in Sidney by airplane Friday en route to the west coast to deliver the craft to a private owner. A forced landing was made due to severe western state weather. he stayed until conditions improved and left Thursday in the same plane.
