Leases Bring Heavy Money For Nebraska Lands

Oil Found In Wildcat Near Dalton Cheyenne County
Olds Oil Co. reports Lang No. 1 wildcat about a half mile west of Dalton as a possible producer after 40 feet of oil in the top J sand and 40 feet drilling mud at the bottom. Gas cut mud and casing work proceed as other wells in the area show mixed results. Several other wildcats, including Olsen No. 1 and Bolie No. 1, are in various stages of testing amid gas shows and drilling challenges in Cheyenne County and nearby fields.
