County Commissioners Establish New Public Road in Sidney
Official Proceedings of the Board of County Commissioners of Cherry County Nebraska October 7 1902 list audited and allowed claims for General Fund Bridge Fund and Road Fund. The board approves a new public road from southeast corner of section 24 township 14 north range 1 48 west south to the Colorado Nebraska line with damages awarded to Fidella Neumann and Rose McLaughlin and orders county road openers notified to begin work.

Death of Annie Davison in Cheyenne County
Annie Davison, born 1881 in Shelly county Indiana, died after a two year family illness at Cheyenne County. A faithful Methodist, she passed after a severe bout with typhoid fever. Funeral services were held Friday at 10:30 p.m. conducted by Elder Slingluff and Rev. Davis in the Dunkard church.

Annie Roth absent due to her brother Charlie's illness. Kenneth Bassett absent three days last week to visit Denver. If the physiology class learns as much as they have good times they will soon have the textbook committed.
