Couple Injured When Car Crashes Into Tree At Greenwood
A young Sidney couple sustained injuries and their 1957 Oldsmobile totalled when it left a road near Greenwood Cemetery, jumped the entrance drive, and struck a tree at 1 a.m. Virgil L. Wells, 20, was treated and released then readmitted with abdominal pain. surgery found no rupture. His wife, 19, was treated for facial injuries and released. Trooper Paul Manley investigated.

Depot Use Plan Will Be Pushed
The Sidney Industrial Council committee will lead a long range plan for Sioux Army Depot land and facilities. E. R. Jimerson will convene city county and industrial reps to start work. A 60 day deadline targets charting depot portions and facilities for private industry and state institutions with potential regional participation and funding support from Wheatbelt district.

Who Cares Drivers On Wanted List
Trooper John Trenerry pursued a speeding car on Highway 30 near Sidney Nebraska when his patrol car overturned in a ditch. Two drivers fled the scene and had not been located by noon as area law enforcement searched for the eastern Nebraska county vehicle and the accompanying car ahead. The trooper, 31, was uninjured and exited via the rear window.
