Denver Rites Held For Oscar Erickson 81

Final rites for Oscar W. Erickson 81 former Sidney resident and building contractor were held in Denver on Oct. 1. He died Sept. 27 in a Denver hospital after months of illness. Survivors include his wife Lena of Denver three daughters and two sons.

City Personal Tax Receipts Mailed Across County

County Treasurer M. M. Inhelder reports 3,059 Sidney personal tax receipts mailed for 1958 with an estimated $237,000 in revenue. About 6,059 countywide receipts will go out, expected to yield $696,000.

Sugar Beet Harvest Begins With County Crop Estimate
