The first frost of the season came Monday night and formed an eighth inch on exposed water. Vegetation looked damaged though greens had largely been removed. The bumper corn crop remained unharmed for a week or more, beyond the frost’s impact.

Village Board approves peddling license and building permit

Johnson will move to his Peetz homestead. Peel and Ligoni sold the Palace Livery Barn, stock and building to R M Perkins for 4400 dollars.

Dedication of Chappell Methodist Church Next Sunday
