Carl G. Lessig 55 a Dalton resident for 35 years died Monday morning at Dalton Hospital after a stroke. Born in Grand Island Nebraska he farmed briefly then ran a business in Dalton. Survivors include wife Tena and six children Earl Harold Edna Gayland Don John nine grandchildren. Funeral at Dalton Presbyterian Church Thursday at 2 pm with Rev Raymond Bartels. burial in Sidney cemetery. The Gehrig Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Driver Blamed In Kimball Death Inquest Verdict
A six man coroner's jury ruled Roscoe Hendricks died Wednesday in an accident on Highway 30 west of Kimball involving an automobile driven unlawfully in a restricted area and a tractor operated by Hendricks for the highway department. Fred Adair faces possible charges. Adair did not testify.
