Community Notes From Grand Prairie and Nearby
Grand Prairie and surrounding area report a busy sequence of visits and gatherings as Mr and Mrs Mons Johnson and others hosted, while relatives traveled from Pennsylvania, New York and Oklahoma. A severe midweek snowstorm slowed travel, with roads impassable briefly. Several local residents and visitors appear at Jorgensen, Gade, Irwin and Gel homes, with corny field work completed and a general sense of community resilience as drifted roads ease. Continuous social calls include many named families such as Johnson, Irwin, Jorgensen, Fox, Bogard, Gade, Smith, Tremain, Welton, and Jurgens.
