Funeral in Kimball for Walter Parker
Dean J. J. Crawford of the Episcopal Church officiated at Walter Parker’s funeral in Kimball. Parker, a Tama City native born September 5, 1877, died at Fitzsimmons hospital in Denver last Saturday. He served 15 months as a private in Battery F, 61st Coast Artillery, including a year overseas. The Dix American Legion post and Kimball post led burial services.

About 20 Cheyenne county farmers marketed their first turkeys through the North Platte Valley Poultry Marketing association on November 15 loading at Bayard. They were all graded weighed and paid for on delivery at Bayard and producers felt they were well treated and received more for their birds than other methods. County Agent Willey led three dressing demonstrations with 44 attendees. Pricing on a dressed basis ranged from 28 to 38 1/2 cents depending on class. A second car is planned around mid December with December 5 listing deadline. Willey collects marketing interest for the association officers.

Error Claimed in Amendment to State Constitution
