Bentley Tops Local Hit Climb In Friendly Contest
Considerable interest and some money changed hands last week in a friendly hill climbing contest at Haskell Hill between J A Bent ley's six cylinder Hudson touring car and a four cylinder roadster. The Bentley won and also won the straight away dash. Bob High and Gus Schwartz tested 40 HP cars in a twenty mile race at the fair ground track with High gaining three miles on Schwartz. A good number of spectators enjoyed the event and some money was put up.

Fire destroys North Platte depot and hotel
