Otto Raddatz Dies at 78 in Denver Rites Friday
Otto Raddatz 78 a Cheyenne County resident for 47 years died yesterday in a Denver hospital after two months of illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev Henry Monnich officiating and burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may go to the church. He was born March 7, 1879 in Belgrade Germany and came to the United States at age one, later living near Lodgepole and Lorenzo before retiring to Sidney. Survived by his wife Emma three daughters Bertha Holtman Violet Kurz Ethel Payzant four sons Ervin William Stanley Otto Jr 25 grandchildren six great grandchildren two sisters six brothers.

An 18-year-old youth is held in Ogallala in connection with the Monday night theft of a 1958 three-quarter ton pickup from the McCormick Farm Store east of Sidney.
