Enumerators will call on every farm in the district, assist with difficult questions, and verify forms for accuracy. Stolen Cars Found Here
Two stolen cars were recovered in Sidney by City Police this week end, one from Michigan and one from Scottsbluff. Teenagers were taken into custody: two 14 year olds from Scottsbluff after stealing a 1953 Chevrolet, and a 16 year old from Hartford, Michigan, Julius Bowden, held for Michigan authorities. The Michigan youth admitted using his mother's car, which she knew had been stolen.

Grain Co Is Largest Loser in Cheyenne Burglary Spree
Six burglaries hit Cheyenne County Sunday night with targets in Gurley and Dalton. Locations include Gurley Cafe, Co-Op Filling Station, Wayne & Millie’s Bar, Cecil’s Mobile Station, Clem’s Pool Hall, and D&A Grain Inc. Loot ranged from $275 to $300 at D&A Grain, plus small amounts from other sites. Notable losses were money from juke boxes, cash drawers, and several cigarette machines. Police estimate no amateur involvement and cite recent related break-ins in the area.
