State Patrol Report Details October Activities
Sgt Felix Koenig issued a report on October patrols in Kimball Sidney and Chappell. The patrol gave 22 safety programs aided 229 motorists cleared 153 highway obstructions investigated 26 accidents and issued 618 violation cards. Court appearances totaled 226 including four for driving while intoxicated. Two stolen cars were recovered and three felony arrests were made. Patrol cars logged 44956 miles.

VFW Poppy Sale Planned for Saturday Across County
Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary will canvas Cheyenne County communities for the annual Buddy Poppy sale.
