Weyerts District 32 Students Take Train Ride

District 32 students enjoyed an educational train trip from Sidney to Chappell on Monday morning. The outing included teachers and local families such as Mr. Floyd, Bruins, and Clarence Horst, with students returning to Sidney for a day of activities.

Nine Attend Women Club Activities at Lorenzo

The Lorenzo Woman's Club met Wednesday with nine members and four visitors. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Edson Madden, and Mrs. Frank Meier, with a low prize to Mrs. Charles Cady. A light lunch followed, and the next meeting was planned with Mrs. Otto Raddatz.

Doggett Boys Headed to Omaha for Family Visit

Sund News reports Curley Doggett remains hospitalized in Omaha after a racing car fire, undergoing skin grafts with hoped for recovery in weeks. Muriel Crosby and four grandsons joined visits with Mr. and Mrs. Curley Doggett and relatives in Lyons Blair and Blair Nebraska, then returned home Tuesday. Dr. and Mrs. Charles Freed of Denver visited the Webb family in town. Florence Craig's birthday gathering drew many neighbors and relatives.
