Wheatbelt sees growth as irrigation boosts power use
Wheatbelt Public Power District reported a turnaround with about 150 new services annually amid inflation and shortages. It connected 65 new center pivot irrigation systems and plans 100 more. a $1.2 million Rural Electrification Administration grant will fund 132 miles of new lines and two new substations.
