Eighth grade graduates honored across county schools
Diplomas were granted Wednesday afternoon to 227 graduates who gathered at the city auditorium for the annual exercises. Honors went to Laura Mitchell and Marjorie Sanders tied for top honors, with Lucile Whitefoot also honored. Rev. J J Sheaff delivered the address, and the junior high orchestra provided music. Rattle Snakes Halt Golf Round In Local Open
Red Waite the coun try club open tournament leader felt a rattler bite his trouser cuff on the No 12 fairway while approaching the last nine of his 36 holes.
