Frontier Gets OK to Buy Two Convair Aircraft
Frontier Airlines won Civil Aeronautics Board approval for a guaranteed $900,000 loan to purchase two Convair 340 aircraft. President L B Maytag Jr. said the move will replace DC-3s with faster pressurized Convairs, boosting efficiency in the Rocky Mountain West and Midwest.
