Ministerial Meeting in Sidney Welcomes Prominent Methodist Divines
The semi annual meeting of the North Platte District West Nebraska Conference met in Sidney Tuesday to Thursday with prominent Methodist clergy in attendance. Papers on Bible belief higher criticism and church duties were discussed, with resolutions urging devotion to Bible Christianity and support for the district’s presiding elder. The session honored pastor and visitors, and the event closed with a benediction. Miss Edna Muritess and D P Evans of Cheyenne wed in Cheyenne on Tuesday afternoon May 24. Evans, a Union Pacific conductor, and Mrs Evans plan to settle in Cheyenne.

Jesse S. Moffit, editor of the Advance in Hooker Oklahoma, has wed a widow from his hometown on May 16. The ceremony followed with a rice shower a carriage ride to the city hotel and a welcome home with decorating signs at the printing office.
