Runaway Teams Cause Townwide Scramble
A hail storm forced Martin Boreson’s gray dray team to bolt from the B M depot as freight unloaded. They crashed into a car, broke the drag, then fled through the southwest area with only the front wheels left. Willie Chowins’ team also ran loose from E J Sweets yard, wrecking near L J Taylors residence. One horse suffered small leg injuries, but no major damage occurred. Jesse Grant Brady of Potter was in town Monday.
