Dalton High graduates twenty students
Dalton High held commencement for 20 seniors in the school gym on Wednesday evening with Ted Adam at the piano. Valedictorian Susan Fecht and Salutatorian Margaret Peters gave the addresses as Rev. Max E. Valdez delivered the invocation and benediction. The class sang "The Way We Were" and Lions Club scholarships were awarded to Lyle Galler. Various seniors received scholarships and many planned further education at UNL, NCB, Chadron College, and other institutions. Thirteen of the class planned to continue schooling. several graduates were honored at family gatherings afterward. The Dalton firemen announced a June dance to benefit their department, noting hours logged on calls and maintenance.
