Dam Project Brings High Yields Through ACP Cooperation
Farmers and Cheyenne County residents, with Agricultural Conservation Program support, are building a large earth dam west of Sidney. The 50 acre feet capacity structure blocks flood waters from a valley feeding Range and Tabler lands, improving previously unusable ground across several thousand acres in Western Nebraska.
