One Hospitalized In 2 Car Collision
Mrs. Ernest J Baack was released from Sidney Memorial Hospital after injuries from a near head-on two car crash at 9th and Hickory Monday evening. Jim I White 16 of Sidney, turning left onto Hickory from 9th Ave, collided with the Baacks car. White uninjured, Mrs Baack kept overnight. Mr Baack had a forehead cut but not hospitalized. Police estimate damages at 375 to the Baack auto and 300 to White's vehicle.

19 Year Old Gets 1 Year Term For May 9 Break In
Franklin Ray Horton aged 19 was sentenced to one year at hard labor in the State Penitentiary by District Judge I J Nisley after pleading guilty to break in and entering. Horton and accomplice Donald Willis 23 were arrested minutes after a railroad employee tipped police during a Read s Army Surplus store burglary in Sidney. Four pistols a box of cartridges a shoulder holster and two pairs of leather gloves were taken.
