Mrs. Bentley Dies at 73 After Heart Attack in Sidney
Mrs. J A Bentley, 73, longtime Sidney resident, died Monday night of a heart attack at her home. Funeral services were held Friday at The Craig Mortuary with Rev Walter Jewett officiating. Interment was planned for Saturday in Toledo Iowa. Born April 3 1876 she lived in Davenport Toledo and Sidney. She married J A Bentley in Toledo and they moved to Sidney in 1907. Her husband died in 1932. She was active in the Methodist Church and P E O. Surviving are three children Charlton and Leslie of Sidney and Mrs Carter Dunaway of Denver along with three grandchildren.

Two Teens Held for Theft in Potter and Sidney
Two seventeen year old boys from Dubuque Iowa are in Cheyenne County custody on charges of robbing the Elmer Seyfang Grocery at Potter and the Porter Station in Sidney early Tuesday. They admitted the thefts and were arrested in Ogallala after their car ran low on money and they sold tires. A companion, Bud Bauer, 23, may be kept only as a witness. A court date had not yet been set.
