Burlington Main Line Trains Routed Through Here Thursday

Rev. C. O. Troy of Potter spoke at Gurley high school graduation on the theme The Spirit of the Winner. Deserter duo arrested in Sunol car theft case
Bruce R. Floren aged 20 and Florence Thelma Iverson aged 18 admitted stealing a Ford coupe at Sunol after arriving in Sidney with two others. Floren received 2 to 5 years in the Lincoln state reformatory. Iverson one year in York reform school. They had earlier stolen a Pontiac in Kansas and planned a Pacific coast trip with Dennis and Emma Patrick.

Collision on Lincoln Highway injures man in Sidney
A Chrysler car driven by Albin Olson and a Star Meat Market truck driven by George Loebe collided Wednesday morning in front of Taylor Hospital on Lincoln highway. Olson’s four passengers, all children, escaped with minor scratches. Loebe suffered a severe head wound requiring five stitches. Both vehicles were badly damaged.
