Nebraska farm price index rose to 251 in mid April up 6 points from March and 17 from a year ago. Cattle and calves and major feed grains fueled gains with hogs at 16.60 per cwt highest since August 1963 and cattle at 21.10 per cwt, a record since 1963. Wheat 1.32 per bushel down 4 cents from March, 60 cents below a year ago, while corn at 1.22 per bushel up 1 cent.
