Last Sac Rites Impressive Funeral for Mrs Stuht
The funeral of Mrs. William Stuht was held in a Lutheran church last Saturday afternoon. Rev. Albert delivered the sermon as the Lutheran choir sang, with six Odd Fellows bearing the casket. The service included music by Co. D. Essig and closed with prayers and consoling words for the husband, children, and relatives before transport to Burlington, Wisconsin.

Minister and wife held after impropriety discovery
In Salt Lake May 8 Rev. W D Mabry longtime pastor and Mrs W C Riley wife of a prominent lawyer were found in a compromising position in Mabry's study by police. The woman posted bond and was freed while Mabry remained in jail awaiting further action. Both are well regarded in society and church circles. Denver News.

Anniversary of W E C Ladies of E W Summer Corps
The W E C Ladies of E W Summer Woman's Relief Corps No 6 met at the I O O F Hall on Saturday May 4 to celebrate their first anniversary. The corps organized May 5, 1894, and May 5, 1895 fell on a Sunday so they marked the day with a celebration. Veterans were invited and refreshments were served in their favor. The event was described as enjoyable with an afternoon well spent by the corps secretary.
