County Commissioners Establish Public Road in Cheyenne County
The Cheyenne County Board meeting on May 5 1902 established a public road petitioned by Fred Kurth and others running 12 miles west along section lines from section 16 14N 47W to section 10 18N 49W. Damages to St George Cattle Co were allowed at 40 dollars.

Cheyenne County Bonds Refunding Resolution Adopted
The Cheyenne County Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution to refund 418,500 of 6 percent bonds issued January 1890. The plan calls for 13,500 in 4 percent refunding bonds due 1912 with semiannual interest and early payment rights, to be offered in Sidney Nebraska. Objections must be filed by May 26 with the County Clerk.

Chas Norton the UP engineer of passenger No 4 was injured on a side track at Colton. Superintendent Ware District Foreman Stubbs and Chief Dispatcher Cox arrived on No 1 and waited for No 4. Rumor says a June 1 event looms for the round house. Burlington new time card took effect with Denver passenger arrivals at breakfast. may build an eating house at Sidney per plan. Burlington plans large cattle shipments from Alliance to Wyoming and Montana with dipping pens and a long tank to disinfect cattle at ten head a minute.
