Lloyd Lundberg of Sidney caught the state’s largest crappie to date, a 17 inch two pound 15 ounce fish, at the mouth of Otter creek on the north side of Lake McConnaughey. Thomas Rinehart of Princeton Indiana, 20, critically injured in an April 19 auto crash east of Potter, is AWOL from the U S Army. He enlisted November 20 at Fort Ord for three years in China. State patrol reports he drove a stolen car. authorities say he is also wanted in Missouri for grand larceny. Rinehart may be hospitalized weeks after the wreck which overturned twice. Two hitchhikers in the car were uninjured and released.

Young Mother Dies Here Sunday Night
Mrs Fay Williams a Kimball woman died in a local hospital last Sunday night hours after giving birth to a nine pound daughter. Born June 14 1918 in Chappell she graduated from Devel County high school 1936 and worked at the courthouse before marrying Fay Williams in 1939. The ceremony was in Sidney and the daughter their only child. Funeral services were held at Chappell Wednesday afternoon.
