Stockmen Will Take Notice at Nebraka Stock Growers Meet
The Nebraka Stock Growers association holds its annual gathering in Alliance on May 11 12 and 18 1903 with an executive committee meeting at First National Bank parlor Tuesday evening a business session in the opera house and a general stockmen discussion Tuesday night led by cattlemen. Wednesday features Nebraska experiment station addresses and a race track entertainment with horse relays and broncho busting followed by a grand ball at the opera house. Visitors may bring new brands for a forthcoming brand book and Omaha inspectors will attend.

One cattle outfit plans 1700 cattle cars from Texas to Montana via the Denver Alliance cut-off. first shipment about May 10. Joe Sykes and Dr Owens fished Oberfelder Lake near Lodgepole and hauled out twenty five large wouth black bass weighing two to five pounds each. The lake is stocked and popular with sportsmen.
