College Glee and Mandolin Club to Perform at Opera House
The College Glee and Mandolin Club of State University of Wyoming, twenty young ladies strong, will present an evening of vocal and instrumental music with readings at the opera house on Saturday night, April 6. The program features piano mandolin banjo guitar violin and drum solos, a drum solo by the youngest performer, and readings such as The Darkey’s Dream of Home The Sleigh Ride and The Chariot Race. County Teachers Attend Bridgeport Meeting Saturday
Sidney teachers Knox McFadden Chambers Peetz and Sadie Grace McFadden traveled by Saturday morning train to Bridgeport for the county teachers association gathering. B A Lathrop fell from his auto cycle Saturday evening on the Potter road. He started from the village, darkness prevented safe riding, and his wheel struck a high place causing a tumble. He suffered bruises and a broken bone in his left hand.
