Airport Work Forces Detour on Highway 19
Highway 19 south of Sidney will close for an indefinit e period to allow airport runway extension work. A detour via Sidney routes traffic two miles west to a road that will handle southbound traffic with warning signs. Construction may begin April on a new south hill road paralleling the current route.

The survey aims to inform hourly wage scales for blue collar workers and may affect those still employed or as caretakers after the depot closes.
