Dalton residents gather for visits and farm notes
ICKES Blondy Thoreen, a Dalton electrician, called at the Herb Foster home Friday. Saturday visitors included Herb and Francis Foster, the Millers and families, Shinkers, and the Kreaders. Measles strike Bovee and Mowrer households, with Dr. Hedlund attending. Albert Johnson stays with his sister, Elmer Mayers, after Army discharge. Many neighbors travel, host, and tend farms as winter gives way to new settlers arriving in the area.
