Funeral services for Jens P. Mortensen 70 will be held at the Dalton Presbyterian Church at two this afternoon. The Rev. Ray Bartels will officiate with interment in Dalton Cemetery. Mortensen, born February 19 1877 in Ramblose Denmark, died March 24 1947 in Dalton. He moved to Nebraska in 1911, remarried Laura Jorgensen in 1920, and lived in Dalton since 1936. Survived by wife Laura, three sons Jess Holger Paul and daughter Margrethe, five grandchildren, and relatives in Denmark Oregon Washington and Michigan.
