Attorney Joseph M. Swenson seeks district court mandamus to compel Sidney trustees to declare the town a second class city, plat wards, and elect a mayor and council, arguing population 1155 in 1910 and ongoing growth. A meerbaum pipe pawned in Cheyenne for $1.50 was identified by Joe Sympdynes as his own. Police arrested two thieves at Green River tied to a Rock Springs store robbery and recovered items. The suspects face trial for the Rock Springs heist.
Chris Jurgens Sr dies suddenly at about three in the afternoon while standing in the Owl saloon. He came from Morfield Nebraska a week ago to settle his affairs and had planned to be home by the 25th. He leaves five sons and a daughter. Funeral is planned for Weyerts church with interment in the churchyard tomorrow. Reverend Shulthers to conduct services. He would have turned seventy one on March 22 1915. The family and relatives mourn the loss.
Roy Gregory and Charles Eddie Man, both of Crook Colorado, were in the Metz car that skidded off a bridge half a mile north of Sidney. Gregory suffered a broken left arm, the car had minor damage, Eddie Man escaped injury. Dr Mantor set the fracture and they stayed until Thursday before returning home.
Roy S. J. Size and Mrs. Paulina Roberts, both of Denver, were married March 24 by Reverend May at the Methodist church.
The Woman's Club presents Quo Vadis in eight reels at the Ideal Theatre with a matinee this afternoon to raise funds for the club library. The events aim to ease the group's tight finances and provide public library access.
A. H. Clemns formerly of near Peetz moved to the Charlton ranch east of town after selling two quarter sections for a good price. He has leased it as a stock ranch and brought five hundred breeders land feeders, a notable gain for the locality and the area’s cattle capacity.

Village Board awarded contracts for a municipal electric light and steam heating plant. Murray Iron Works was chosen for power plant machinery at 15 23.00, McGraw Co for electrical equipment at 11 406.30, and W H Wilsock of Cheyenne for the power plant building at 7 150.00. The project aims to complete the power building in 90 days and have the plant operating by September 1, with negotiations to buy Sidney Electric Service steam mains to avoid duplicating steam mains in the business district.
