On March Sth Sidney High School debated in Ogallala and defeated the local team on the topic Resolved that the Monroe Doctrine should be Abolished. Viola Walker Belle Stafford and Zella Owens spoke for Sidney while Ruth Robinson Yazel Chingrew and Lucille Anderson argued for Ogallala. Supt Tout of North Platte chaired the judges. The Sidney team will debate Alliance High School on April 6, sustaining the negative.
