Dr. Beggs outlined five keys to success: belief in the community, intergroup cooperation, ongoing needs assessment, age-wide program integration, and citizen growth opportunities.

Funeral services for Nellie V. Deal 66 of Sidney are 2 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home. She died Monday in Denver after a long illness. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery beside her husband who died in 1951.
