St Patrick’s Day observance featured a well received program by St Patrick’s Academy pupils. Performers included Misses Hart Simones Edwards and Master Maginnis in violin numbers. Doris Fickes at piano. Elizabeth Maginnis in a spoken piece. Miss Rose Walsh and Hubert Pearson starred in an operetta and in paired roles as Uncle Sam and Columbia. Colonial dames danced a stately routine.

On March 10 the long time Sidney business deal closed as A A Ahlman bought J R Campbell’s implement and transfer stock estimated over 100000 dollars. The dealer, John Deere Co claims the station as Nebraska’s largest retail outfit. A Ahiman, a Sidney precinct resident for years, farms 1500 acres nearby and will run John Deere, Waterloo, Flour City, Case and Master Truck brands. Campbell, retiring owner, remains in Sidney to rest before resuming activity.

Infant Plein Dies After Three Weeks Illness
