Turner recently discharged from the Radio Construction unit after fifteen months in the navy, visiting his mother. Serg Turk of Camp Dodge, Town on a furlough with the Chas. Burkhardt family. Deaths. Early Pottawatomie settler Mr Draper dies in Cheyenne County
Mr Draper passed away at his home Sunday afternoon March 9 after a stroke of paralysis. He leaves a widow and nine children, all listed with hometowns in Cheyenne County or nearby towns. Born in England in 141 he moved to Canada then to Pottawatomie County in the 1860s, later relocating to Cheyenne County six years ago. Funeral services were held at Dal tor Tuesday March 1.
