Howard Mitchell of End Oklahoma was bound over to district court on charges of obtaining money under false pretenses after a preliminary hearing before Judge Penrose E. Romig. Bond set at $10,000. Mrs Ella Foley testified that between August 1 1949 and March 1 1951 Mitchell collected over 17 000 in cash and checks with promises to invest in oil leases. Mitchell, a Sidney figure, was arrested at a Sidney hotel.
