Artie Aksamit nets a late driving layup to give Lincoln Plus X the Class B crown 44 42 over Lexington Howells retains Class C with a 52 47 7 win over Arapahoe Palmer defeats Falls City Sacred Heart 68 57 in Class D. East led by Curt Hedberg 26 points but Central shuts down late.

CSC Track Dims Set School Marks At CU Meet
Chadron State College athletes posted several top finishes at the University of Colorado indoor meet. Fastenau placed fourth in the long jump and fifth in the triple jump, Graesser set a new mile school record with 4 21 3, and Chadron earned thirds in the long jump and mile relay. Don Sherlock took third in long jump, and the mile relay team finished third behind CU and Adams State. It marked Chadron’s firstCU meet placing in at least four years.
