Fred Wacker of South Divide sold potatoes Wednesday. School board members visited the exhibit Saturday and found it good. Archey Vassall of Bayard procured a marriage license there Thursday to wed Miss Ball. Georgie Siue, Frank Isenberger, Frank Bates and Robi Kidney attended probate matters in county court yesterday. Leopold Rezanina announced the arrival of a new ten pound girl Thursday. G. M. Robbins of Denver, Mrs. F. J. Emmett of Rapid City, and Travel ing Engineer W. J. Smart registered at a local hotel Wednesday. Daily newcomers unload stock in the railroad yards as the country looks thickly settled. Omaha visitors James Johnston J H Norrick F A Field Wm St John P S Nawcombe R M Baker and Joseph Cunningham toured Cheyenne county’s lands.
East Friday the Sidney school held its annual exhibit to allow patrons to view pupil work grade by grade. About eighty visitors registered as Principal Pate and staff guided guests through rooms where three hundred pupils’ samples hung on walls and desks. Light refreshments were served and the event praised as a valuable means for parents to gauge student progress and school effort.
The New England rural drama Quincy Adams Sawyer returns to Tobin opera house on Monday March 18 with a largely new scenery and familiar cast from its New York run.
