The National Wheat Growers Association Cheyenne County chapter scored a 54 to 39 Senate victory for a domestic parity two price plan. It would guarantee 100 percent parity for wheat used domestically with offset funding from flour millers and processors. House action needed, possibly by 1957. Senators Curtis and Hruska of Nebraska supported the measure.

Sidney Driver Dies In Crash Of Big Truck
Rogers driver Louis Edgar Meyer age 30 of Sidney was killed when his truck struck a bridge 15 miles east of Elmwood Oklahoma while hauling oil field equipment from Sidney to Fredrick Ohio. He was married with a child and had worked nine months for Rogers. Funeral services planned in New Braunfels Texas.

Cheyenne County's dynamite storage building one mile west of Sidney was entered over the weekend. Sheriff Bill Schulz said it was not determined if any dynamite had been stolen. A box of the explosives had been moved and the door of the concrete structure was broken.

Kimballites Approve $32,000 Bond Issue
Kimball County School District No 4 patrons vote 14 to 3 to approve a 32000 bond for adding three classrooms a kitchen and an auditorium to the eastern district grade school. The new wing will be about 28 by 60 feet, per treasurer Art Haseman.

Dalton Eyes Liquor-By-The-Drink Vote At April Election
