Sidney Athletics Lose to Chicago Crescents in Tight 34-32

Sidney Athletic Club fell 32 to 34 to the Chicago Crescents after a sharp display of passing and defense. Jim Davis led Sidney with strong shooting as Lee Daniel, Dr. Glenn Bliss, Clayton Parks, Jim Davis, and J Gleason represented the club. The Crescents, noting a 15 losses in 61 games, used a swarming defense to force long Sidney shots. Next Thursday, March 13, Sidney faces the Sterling Giants. Sidney grades play Kimball grades tonight. Sidney girls host Minatare on Saturday, March 10, with boys rules.

Destructive 60 mile gale hits town with heavy snowfall
