Funeral for C A Newell Held at M B Church
Funeral services for Charles A. Newell were held at the M B church Sunday at 11 o clock conducted by Rev W L Gilpin. The interment took place in City cemetery. Newell born in Vermont in 1852 moved west and pursued farming, stock raising and a meat business before settling with wife Mary Farrell at Kidney ranch near Sidney. He leaves a wife and a brother W F Newell of Colfax.

District Court Opens Short Session on Bonds and Appeals
