Tourism blitz to market Old West region from Chicago area
Chicago will host a $200000 tourism promotion next month by the five state Old West Regional Commission. Wyoming Governor Ed Hershler said the effort, with Montana Nebraska and the Dakotas, runs a month long media blitz to build a regional identity and boost regional share of Chicago area tourism. Advertising will run in Chicago papers on radio and TV and on outdoor billboards with pre and post campaign evaluation. The theme is Go Old West.
