One Day District Court Sessions in Sidney

Judge Grimes opened court Tuesday in Sidney, dismissing the Krug Brewing Co. case without prejudice after a day of hearings. Multiple cases were continued, decrees granted, or dismissed with costs, and a notable sale pending or confirmed. A special telegram noted Senator Thurston's request to suspend fence removals on government lands used for grazing in Banner county.

Senator Allen reported favorable the bill to transfer Fort Sidney reserve to Nebraska for educational purposes. The state must erect a suitable military school building within two years of passage, with sixty acres of the reservation remaining unoccupied.

Reward for Arrest in 1898 Farm Burglaries Near Town
