Gurley Wins D Tourney to Meet Sunflower Saturday

Gurley Pirates defeated Sunol 36 to 32 to claim the Class D championship and earn a regional playoff date against Sunflower in Bridgeport Saturday night. Kieselhorst led Gurley with 15 points, Freudenberg 13, while Booth and Zalesky paced Sunol with 12 and 13. Broadwater routed Potter 47 to 25 in the third-place game.
