FBI pursues 16 Pine Ridge suspects in agent killings

Zoning Review in Sidney Parkland Addition Plans

New county attorney to take oath in Cheyenne County

Thomas Sonntag will be appointed and sworn in as Cheyenne County Attorney Tuesday, replacing Don Tedesco. County Clerk Bob Hossle announced the move this morning as Tedesco steps down to devote full time to his Sidney practice. Sonntag will have an office at 920 Jackson St. in the Court House Annex Building. He was born in Minnesota and raised in Iowa, studied at Concordia College, served in the U.S. Army, and is enrolled in the University of Nebraska College of Law. He was admitted to the Nebraska Bar last week.

County plan hearing set for Cheyenne County zoning proposal

A public hearing on Cheyenne County's comprehensive zoning and subdivision plan is set for 1 30 pm Tuesday during the County Commissioners meeting.
