The 1971 72 budget includes 45 144 000 for interstate and state highway work in southern Nebraska panhandle with detailed projects across Scotts Bluff Morrill Cheyenne Kimball and other towns. It lists bridges resurfacing grading and routes 19 26 30 71 92 385 and L 17C L 17D plus Spur segments and urban sections all funded for fiscal year 1972 and five year contracts through 1977.

Her husband W A Johnson was superintendent at Potter High around 1928. A mixed couples bowling group picnic surprised Rev and Mrs Leon Foster with supper. Various local couples attended and shared ice cream.
